| West Grinstead is a growing parish of some 3,500 souls, the majority of whom now live in Partridge Green, a flourishing village in the south east of the parish. The hamlets of West Grinstead itself, Littleworth and Dial Post along with Partridge Green make up the whole parish.
The parish church of West Grinstead is St George’s church, a 12th century church situated near the river Adur. Partridge Green is served by the church of St Michael and All Angels church, built in 1891.
