With the enthusiastic help of David Dunk who put the script together and under the professional eye of Brendan Hooper and with the music provided by Liz Burtenshaw, the Passion Narrative ‘came to life’ and dare one say it – to light! The new lighting system was used in this very flexible way for the first time. There was a ‘cast of thousands’ well about a dozen, a very gospel number!

This was a very moving experience for many, both readers and those attending in the congregation – as one member put it:

“It is so good to give such open ended time just to hear the delight of the Gospel”.

It was indeed a delight and a wonderful way to start Holy Week.
