FLOWER POWER, HIPPIES & MARYQUANT, bringing back the 60`s to St. Michaels on a Saturday night at the end of June.

It was a great evening with Mark Chandler`s Band all dressed in appropriate garb and many of those attending also dressed in full 60`s fashion: some quite unrecognisable, wearing long blonde,red or black wigs! Also an ample buffet looking and tasting delicious thanks to Pam, the cheese cutters and to the providers of wonderful deserts.

A huge Thank You to Mark and the band for making the event so successful and to everyone who contributed in any way.

We all had a good fun evening which ended far too soon (out of consideration for the neighbours) with folks asking “can we do it again?”

Plans are indeed afoot to do something similar for Valentines Day on February 14th.

We raised £660 for the Friends who have various projects in prospect.
