St. Michael’s Lighting Project March 2008

St. Michael’s has suffered for some time under the glaring light of 70’s style chandeliers with constantly ‘popping lamps’ that lit the roof more than the congregation. It was decided that, with the help of The Friends of St Michael’s, these would be replaced with a modern versatile all-singing all-dancing computerised ceiling fitting lighting system!!

It is done! What a wonderful transformation to the drama of worship and especially on Palm Sunday evening to the drama of the Passion narrative.

All this is due to the generosity of so many folk who dug deep and encouraged others to do so too!
