PALM SUNDAY     28th March – HOLY WEEK begins!

Maundy Thursday    1st April

• 7.30 pm Holy Communion and vigil until 10.00 pm  St. Michael’s

This is a very important service during which we remember Jesus at the last supper, his love for his disciples and his humility in washing their feet, his betrayal and arrest. Jesus said to his disciples:

“Could you not watch with me one hour?”
That is just what we do during the vigil.

Good Friday      2nd April

• 9.00 am Morning Prayer (said) St. George’s
• 10.00 am Ecumenical Procession of Witness starting at St. Michael’s
• 2.00 pm Dramatic reading of the Passion Narrative – St. Michael’s
• 7.30 pm The Cross of Christ – a meditation for choir and congregation – St Georges

Holy Saturday: 3rd April

The churches are decorated and prepared for the glorious celebrations of Easter Sunday

EASTER SUNDAY – RESURRECTION DAY!! 4th APRIL

• 8.00 am  Holy Communion St. George’s
• 9.30 am SUNG EUCHARIST St. Michael’s
• 11.00 am SUNG EUCHARIST St. George’s
